eRouška

eRouška is a tool with which the Government of the Czech Republic intends to keep track of Coronavirus cases occurring in the European country. To this end, this tool allows control to be maintained over infected persons in order to track their movements and protect the rest of the population.

The tool uses technology similar to those used in other countries such as Korea or Singapore and performs tracking via Bluetooth. In this way, the higher the percentage of the population that activates the app, the more reliable it will be to keep the population centers protected.

Thanks to eRouška the Czech health system will detect if a person marked as carrying the virus goes out on the street or comes into contact with a large group of people. This will enable the health authorities to contact the patient with clear instructions on how to act.

eRouška is a good tool with which the inhabitants of the Czech Republic contribute to preventing COVID-19 from spreading among the different cities of this territory. This is undoubtedly a good tool to detect close circles of people and even to detect the population that traveled in the same public transport as a person who tested positive.
